    Pookie would stand at 9.5 inches (24cm) if he could stand at all. His sitting height -- preferred-- is 7.5 inches (19cm).
     
    Pookie's fur is Tyber Synthetic plush, and his paw pads are Ultrasuede. His shading was applied with a combination of Prismacolor Premier Pencils and Artist Oil paints.
     
    His nose was embroidered, sealed with beeswax, then shaded with paint.
     
    I decided to leave his paw pads smooth and round, rather than sculpt his toes. He reminded me of Garfield's beloved teddy and pulled toes would've made him less Pookie-ish.
     
    Pookie holds the unique honor of being the teddy bear who was submitted with my trademark application in 2019 (approved and registered in 2021). He's special to me for other sentimental reasons that I won't go into, but I did want to add him to the gallery and show him off a little.
